Rick Moore, born in Hairy Mole, North Dakota and raised on a dental floss farm. Rick's father had saved for years for the family's first radio. Rick broke that radio one day and had to run off with a group of buffalo hunters.
Actually, he was born and raised in Colorado where, while paying the bills as a land surveyor, he worked at night, playing music and picking on patrons in the clubs of Denver, where by chance, a group of disc jockeys hung out. One gig after another landed him in the Ozarks, which has been his home for the past twenty years. "This place gets in your blood. . .it's home."
Rick owns a home north of Springfield that he shares with his wife, a very bright dog that responds to hand signals and a pair of quarter horses, known as "the kids." Rick loves spending time with "the kids." He has dabbled in team roping, cutting, training, trailriding and currently spends time learning to ride reining horses. "Horses are therapy. You can have the most stressful day of your life, go home, get on a horse and forget all 'bout it."
